Makemkv remux7/25/2023 ![]() They also have a pretty active support forum ( ). They offer a fully functional 14 day trial on their software. It is fast.Īt any rate, the software is good and the company is great to work with. Remuxing TV episodes generally takes about 1.5 minutes. One thing to note though is that all of the output files go to one directory, you cannot target each one to a different location. I then select all of the renamed VLST files and batch process all of them. I then go to the Tools menu in VideoRedo and open up the Batch manager. Then I go into the VLST saved folder and change the name of the file to whatever I want the final mpg to be named (rather than VTS_01_01 or whatever). ![]() Instead of adding to batch queue or immediately running QuickStream Fix in #4, I just cancel. VLST file for each title that you open in a default directory (which can be set to where ever you want). You can simply add things to the queue until you are satisfied and then let er rip. It comes up with another window then where you can immediately QuickStream Fix the video (this fixes timestamp errors and remuxes to mpg), or you can add to batch queue. Select the stream that I want to extract, and click ok.Ĥ. Fire up VideoRedo (I use V3 Plus which has everything that I need for DVDs) -> Open Title from DVDģ. Rip with AnyDVD (or most times, decrypt with AnyDVD and reauthor using DVDshrink to get only the parts I want)Ģ. I have never used MakeMKV, so I don't know how the functionality compares. I dont use DVDFab so, I can't comment on it but I think that's nice of him to offer his code to them.Yes, it simply remuxes like you are doing with makemkv but to mpg rather than mkv (and actually I think it can output to other formats but I use mpg). ![]() I'm more interested in a simple software thats more anydvd friendly and, would gladly pay for it. I think AnyDVD-HD would do just fine without the help of internal copy protection. I cant think of any technical reasons why there can't be an option to disable internal BD/BD+ removal. Plus, there wouldnt be any conflicts in the first place if there was an option to disable internal copy protection. I dont think there's any other way to interpret that he has mentioned that more than once not just in the popup message we have to click okay to every time. You can also drag and drop the files into the program directly. Click ' + Add Files ' to import the MKV videos into the converter. Launch HD Video Converter Factory Pro and open the ' Converter. I still dont understand the thing about "superior protection" that AnyDVD can't handle. Get it now to remux MKV handily and rapidly. I dont think that AnyDVD would have any qualms about MakeMKV taking advantage of an AnyDVD enabled drive. ![]() The only time I disable anyDVD is to upgrade it.Ībdbear, I hope you dont take this the wrong way because you seem very knowledgeable and a nice guy but if what you said is true, that would make things look even worse unless his plans are to make MakeMKV completely free. Although, method seems to work okay and pretty reliable I just can't stand the idea of having to disable AnyDVD. I wouldnt have been able to do it without the AnyTool.exe command-line tool. In the meantime I made tiny batch file (compiled to an exe) that invisibly disables AnyDVD, waits for MakeMKV to do it's job, when MakeMKV is closed, AnyDVD get's re-enabled. I'm hoping there's a very simple, lightweight Bluray ->MKV app that doesn't have copy protection removal builtin nor transcoding capabilities just remuxing to MKV with good subtitles/audio file support. To do this I run the remux through mkvmerge to tidy everything up and get rid of unwanted tracks whilst also naming forced tracks. I would much rather pay for a Bluray->MKV app that has a developer who listens to what people want to see unless they want to just give it away for free. Makemkv and Mkvmerge for Remux Just wondering who uses this method for remuxing Makemkv has to be one of the easiest programs to create a remux, only thing is tidying all the tracks up afterwards. This has been suggested several times on the MakeMKV forum. To me, it seems a little bit extreme to have to click "Yes" to the below message every time to be sure you're reminded of that or not consider the possibility to use AnyDVD for copy protection removal since afterall, it's pretty much a standard on HTPCs. Convert your DVD/Blu-ray Discs to Files and Split using MakeMKV and MKVToolNix dbG33K 1.88K subscribers Subscribe 57 4.6K views 2 years ago In this video, we walk through the process of how to. I guess he thinks that "the most sophisticated protections" should be left up to makemkv, not AnyDVD. A basket of video editing tools and presets to further polish the M2TS videos. Full hardware acceleration to hasten batch M2TS to MKV conversion, no CPU overuse/overheating issues. Unfortunately, it looks like the guy who made MakeMKV doesnt seem to like AnyDVD-HD a whole lot. Remux M2TS to MP4, MKV and other formats with 1:1 bit-to-bit copy no quality loss. I would love to use MakeMKV for simple BD->MKV conversion and is pretty good at it.
